Consecration Before the Promise: Why Obedience Precedes Breakthrough
Promises don’t break; people do—when we skip the prerequisite that unlocks them. Today we get honest about consecration: what it is, why it matters now, and how to practice it without turning faith into a checklist. We anchor in Joshua 3:5—“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you”—and explore the gap between revelation and realization, where obedience becomes partnership and purity protects power.
We make it practical. Think of consecration like marriage: setting yourself apart isn’t prison; it’s how intimacy thrives. We tackle the soul-level habits that quietly corrode your walk—gossip that masquerades as curiosity, attitudes that justify clapbacks, unforgiveness that keeps the enemy invited, and a “self-care” that sometimes hides simple selfishness. Then we address the body: lust and porn normalized by our screens, media that desensitizes desire, and drunkenness that swaps the Spirit’s leadership for chemical steering. This isn’t condemnation; it’s clarity for anyone who wants to carry new wine without bursting.
We also confront mixture. Purity means refusing to blend devotion to Jesus with crystals, sage rituals, manifesting by moon cycles, or astrology as identity. Those paths promise control while draining peace. With Achan’s story in Joshua 7, we see how hidden compromise undermines public victory—and how swift repentance restores momentum. Finally, we map a way forward: a real stocktake with God, simple replacements for harmful inputs, confession that frees, and daily choices to present our bodies as living sacrifices so our minds can renew and discern God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will.

What's up everybody and welcome to a new episode of Refine. We are here. We just took a one week, just the one week. It wasn't even a holiday per se, just the one week. So today's topic was actually supposed to be a topic that I first unpacked with a guest. The guest will still come, but just not right now. However, for the past week and a half, almost two weeks, the Lord said that this is what we're going to talk about. Guest or not, the guest that we will have will further unpack it. But the Lord had said, I must lay this foundation because we need to hear this right now and not just when guests is available. Um, so yeah, it will still happen. Um, not definitely not this year. We are towards the end of the year, but guests will come, and once guest comes, I'll let you know who um who he was, or well, you'll see who he was, and then I'll remind you of this video in hopes that you've watched this one. So think of this as a part one, and I think it will be a part one because this is a big thing to unpack. I don't want to lie to you. Um, it's it's it's not an easy thing to unpack, but we're gonna do it. What we're talking about today, and don't let the title scare you, um, is consecration. Consecration is not just for those called into ministry or for those who are going to preach and for those who want to be ambassadors of the kingdom because actually we all are. Don't let that word intimidate you because consecration is for you. Okay, you in the workplace, you in the entertainment industry, you as a mom, you as a husband, you as a wife, you as a child, you Jay, if you are born again, okay, bloodwashed, sanctified, made right, or filled with the Holy Spirit, consecration is for you. It is needed, and I don't want to get into it. Let's just get into the word. So if I do look down, remember I've got my notebook on my lap and my phone right here. But I'm gonna give you one verse. And the reason why I just want to focus on one verse, I do want to share the word of God, but I do also want to make this plain that if all someone remembers is one verse, as opposed to them writing down verses they'll never remember. You know that's another thing. So, this one I want us to focus on this on a particular verse, and then there will be other verses that you'll catch on, and if you catch on to them, you'll write them down. But we're going to focus on one verse. So let's just get straight into it. Let's read it. Okay, so before we read it, okay, the verse Joshua 3, verse 5. But before we read it, let me lay the foundation very quickly. So we all know this is when the children of Israel, or for some of you who might not know, the children of Israel, they escape Egypt, they wander around the round the desert slash wilderness for 40 days, 40 years, sorry, and then they are entering the promised land. They left Egypt already knowing that the promised land was for them. This is the land flowing of milk and honey. This is God's portion for them. This is like this is this is this is their inheritance as saints and as you know, children of the Lord, um, as God's children, chosen kids. Um, so they exit the promised land and then they wonder. Moses dies, and then now Joshua comes into leadership and they're finally entering this land. They can see it, they're right across from it, across this river, and they're so excited. I guess. I mean, I would be excited too. Yo, Gunny Nisra Honda, you know. Um, but then again, it was a new generation, but I digress. So the Lord they're finally seeing God's promise, they have heard about God's promise. Some of them have had known the revelation and the promise of God. However, this verse then comes before they enter. Okay, Joshua 3, verse 5. It says, Joshua told the people, consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things. The promise was the Lord will do amazing things tomorrow. But consecrate yourselves. And how many times have we heard the Lord's promise for us, whether through reading his word or through revelation or through a prophetic word or prophecy or whatever the case may be, the safe kinds, but the safe kinds, but we've heard the Lord, the word of the Lord for us, and it's always this exciting thing. The Lord will do amazing things for me, the Lord is going to take me into a new space, the Lord is going to do this in my life, the Lord is bringing me from A to B, B to C, or or this is the year of. But I think there's times, if we're being honest, that we miss the prerequisite. Because, guys, I can guarantee you right now that wherever you see the word of the Lord, there is also a prerequisite. And the prerequisite for us, especially in the season of the shift and season where new things are happening, God is aligning things for his children. God is doing, listen, it's different for everyone, but it's happening across the board. But the prerequisite that the Lord is saying is consecrate yourself. You are no longer going to go around with the delusion that things will just happen without you having to partner with God. Your consecration is you partnering with God because you cannot enter into his new thing defiled. The Bible says you cannot host new wine in old wineskins. In Deuteronomy 28, when the Lord says you are blessed in the city, we are blessed going out, he says, if you keep my word, but we find ourselves skimming over the prerequisite, the obedience, which is which is consecration, obedience is consecration. We find ourselves skimming over the prerequisites of what this new thing requires. And the Lord has given us a blueprint that he needs us to be consecrated in order for us to enter his desired um plan or his desire for us in our lives as a whole, right? So this plan of God or God making his word or his desires for you, um, bringing them to the forefront is revelation. But we will never enter his revelation or promise without consecration. There's no way. We see it in the small things. Again, parables making it easy like pregnancy. The promise of the child is there when that test has two lines, that is the promise. But you cannot then choose to live your life all willy-nilly without making certain necessary changes in order to host that thing, in order to bring that thing forth to its full completion. You cannot assume that yes, just because there's double lines, you can now continue to live the life you do you were living. Smoke the the truth, uh, drink the whatever. And it's not even that. This now, this is just in a practical sense, right? As as human to human. Um, and those who have carried children or under even those who don't, they already know that even when it comes to it, doesn't even have to be the things that are are are life-threatening like that. But even things like sushi, for example, excessive amounts of salmon or this, that, and the other. Um, whether people want to push the the boundaries or the limits to say you can't have too much raw salmon, but you can have a little bit. But the fact remains is that you have to find yourself in a place where the the excess of certain things, you can't you can't you can't play there anymore. You can't um do what you used to do and go where you used to go. You can't. In in in its secrecy, and even when people can see it. You need to live a consecrated life in order to partner with what the Lord is already doing and bring forth God's promise. So it is worrisome that us as children of God assume that God will do things and that we have nothing, we don't have to change, we don't have to um um die to self, we don't have to give certain things up, we don't have to become. So, even in the season of shift, it's going to require not only the word of God to come forth the way you expect it, but it will require your participation, and your participation is consecration, okay? Meaning you could have heard the Lord say through Joshua, the the Lord will do, or Joshua say, the Lord will do amazing things. You could have heard for yourself, you maybe not even through could have been reading the word and said, Oh Lord, this scripture, the revelation of a particular scripture for this season that you're in might have come to you. But the Lord is saying, you could have heard me say that I will do amazing things. But if you don't consecrate yourself, consecrate yourself, you will miss out. Meaning, and and this is me in my mind, right? There were millions of P of children of Israel, um, of the children of Israel there. Meaning that if I chose to not consecrate myself and assume that I will enter on the basis of someone else's consecration, I think I would have been fooling myself. Probably would have been fooling myself because I would have not been allowed to enter that. I would have not partaken in the entering of that land. You will see what happens when you choose, you will see, I'll show you what happens when one person decided to remove themselves and no longer consecrate themselves to God. There were consequences. It means that everybody who entered there participated. It means that for you to see what the Lord wants to do in your life, you will have to participate in consecrating yourself. So if you want to see amazing things in your life, it is a result of consecration. The blessings in Deuteronomy 28 are a result of obedience, which is consecration. So if you change nothing or do nothing, you cannot expect to partake in the glory of the new because you it is a prerequisite for you to participate and partake and partner with God. Let's get into a quick definition of what consecration is. This one is not necessarily a biblical, but I tried to go through many different kinds just so that we can sum up and find a clear understanding. Because I just want this to be clear, I don't want this to be for like super spiritual people who only understand both dimension things, for example, because I don't know even myself if I understand the both dimension things, so we're gonna make it plain and clear for all of us to understand. Consecration means to set apart, okay, to show commitment and dedication, okay, and to not compromise our relationship with God because sometimes we want to get the things at the expense of our relationship with God, but God is saying, consecrate yourself to me so that when you get those things in me, it doesn't complicate and compromise our relationship. Okay, the Lord wants us to rule and not have things rule us. We can't we can't be in this half-half thing, live our days in darkness and only see light on a Sunday when we're in the church service. We get we need we are at that point right now where things are so serious, you need to decide whether you are hot or whether you're cold, because this lukewarm business is not gonna cut it. If you are cold, be cold with your chest, baby. It is c that even that is commendable. But if you are hot, be hot with all of you. Just do not be lukewarm when it comes to your walk and your relationship with God. More also confusa, but it's fine, it's got nothing to do with us, it's got everything to do with God. Consecration is to be right with God, it's not about self-righteousness. Anybody who comes to you with a list of their do's and don'ts, that's a bit scary at times because that then shows self-righteousness. We become like the Pharisees and the Sadducees who had a whole list of things and they didn't do this and they didn't do that, but they were so far from God. But what I was thinking about as I was trying to understand what consecration looks like, it looks like marriage. It looks like marriage because marriage almost mirrors consecration, right? If you you can't want to be married, and and we know it in human terms, you can't want to be married and still before the streets. It's like choose one. You know, you can't want to be married married, but you are you haven't separated yourself from dishonesty, you haven't separated yourself from cheating and and unfaithfulness, you haven't separated yourself from lying, you haven't separated yourself from um not being responsible, spending recklessly, you haven't separated yourself from friends who who are really not healthy for what you desire. So you may desire the marriage, but if you haven't separated yourself from these things that could compromise marriage, that's what consecration is. So I want to be married to Kevin Makugo. So I must separate myself from certain things in order to enjoy, it's not a prison. I want to enjoy this thing, I want to see the fruitfulness of this thing. Therefore, I'm willing to sacrifice or rather to separate myself and consecrate myself from things that will hinder the relationship and the marriage I have with him. That's exactly what we're talking about. Within God's promise and within, for example, marriage, there are so many promises and benefits, right? Track with me. In our relationship with God, there are so many promises and benefits, but we cannot allow our love for the world to make us cheat and defile and to compromise the relationship we have with the Lord. Because then that's that sounds a little bit crazy, then when we're still expecting the Lord to fulfill his duties because we're in a relationship with him, but we haven't done ours. We are not consecrated. So imagine in you guys, we don't do it in a human sense either. If your partner cheats on you, what is the likeness of you continuing to be loyal, to serve, to be present, to love, to give, to you would probably want out. That is the same thing that we need to understand when it comes to God, except the Lord wouldn't want out from you. However, there is an expectation as his child to correct yourself and then to be consecrated, right? So, how do we consecrate ourselves? There's many different ways, but I'll try and package it in in I don't know, categories. This is where you you take the mirror and you finally start looking at yourself between you and God and pray before you do that so that you're not dumb sucking, but say, Lord, help me to see what I haven't been seeing this whole time. The first way, or what do you do to consecrate yourself, is that you have to get rid of bad habits, attitude, separate yourself from certain behaviors. What does that mean? I'm not gonna be vague. Separate yourself from gossip, guys. There's something about gossip that I I literally realized, especially as of late, how much the Lord really does not want us as his children to be involved in those things. I mean, to talk about someone, to listen to someone talk about someone else. You know, it's easy to get like sucked into some of these. Like you see something happening, you're like, oh, my twins any and sometimes you know, let me be honest. TikTok, you know, you know, TikTok, sometimes videos will come up and you're just like, Oh, okay, what's happening? I think the innocence of curiosity is one thing because you generally don't know, right? But once you clock what's happening, then you can exit. But if you know, if then you go down the spiral and you know more than you should, and then you start to raise opinions, and then it's now something that has now taken position in your heart and in your mind, and you have a true sense about it. The the crazy thing about gossip is that it really changes nothing, especially if it's far removed from you, it it does nothing for your life, it really does nothing for your life. There's something about gossip that the Lord does not want. And I think Mabusi made a video. Um, yes, she did. Babusi made a video on on gossip. I think we should go to her channel. Um, Babusi Mutudi, Bussi Siwa Mutudi. Go go on her channel because then if you are struggling there by the gossip there, go to her channel after this on YouTube and have a look and listen at what she had to say. But there's something about gossip that the Lord does not like. Attitude, another thing, and a lot of these things I had to be like, oh, okay, gossip, oof, attitude, ooh. I think you know, Lord, are you subbing me? He's always subbing me. But attitude, this one has been uh an interesting one because I have to still undo a lot of the things, right? Um, I've had to check my attitude at times. I've had to check how I respond to things because even if someone can make me feel somehow, because I'm choosing and I'm saying, Lord, I I am consecrated. I He will have to deal with that. Why? Because you don't want the enemy to have leeway. Sometimes the things that we think are just normal things, they are actually a door for the enemy to find pieces of himself or attributes of himself in you. I'll explain that. We are still going down, down, down there. But anyway, so attitude, fixing your attitude, right? Um, clapback season, not to be a doormat. There will be a time when you'll say to people, dude, that was not cool. But I'm also learning that you don't have to say that to people all the time. Because some people, it's just in their nature, they have chosen to have allegiance to uh the other side. There's nothing in their flesh that convicts them. So me clapping back to someone like that does absolutely nothing because they've made a decision about who they want to be. But now my response will affect me and not them. I hope that makes sense. So we have to check our attitudes. Um, we have to consecrate ourselves. Um, we consecrate ourselves through checking our forgiveness or lack thereof. Wanting to stand in unforgiveness, guys, is a dangerous door. I I think this one is definitely also another topic someday. I between you and I, if you've made it this far, this means that you know you're my person, um, you're my people. Um, but I wanted someone to come on to really explain what unforgiveness does. Um, and we will by the grace of God. So that's that's one thing. But there's something about unforgiveness, guys, that is just not okay. And again, it becomes a door for the enemy to to operate in your life. So you're wondering, Lord, but why why isn't this happening? It's because you have still given room for something that the Lord doesn't want. He said, cut it off. You can't carry this into the new. When you hold on to unforgiveness, what is that going to do for you in the new? Release it. Release it. We'll unpack it in another video, I promise you. Selfishness. We are in this world that has disguised selfishness as trying to find your the way back to yourself, and you know, I'm choosing me now. I'm not opposed to that. There are some times where we've truly compromised and sold ourselves short, um, constantly wanting to fill other people's cups and not show up for ourselves in a way that is honorable. However, there is a borderline, there's this underlying selfishness that if we don't watch over, it could be detrimental. So, those are the things that when the Lord says consecrate yourself, remove selfishness. You need to check, you need to check your heart behind, Lord. Am I really taking care of myself? Am I being a good steward of myself when I take care of myself in this way, or when I place these boundaries, or when I steward myself in this way, or am I just being selfish? And sometimes protecting yourself is just outright selfishness. Do you know what I'm saying? But again, another day to unpack that we need to separate ourselves from dishonesty. Sitan among us sometimes, and we need to separate ourselves from anger. We need to separate ourselves from anger, guys. It is a door. You you cannot, you cannot go through life being angry. You cannot. There are things that people have done to you, but then you are also unfortunately responsible for how you recover. Okay? It sounds unfair, but because it's your livelihood at stake, it's your heart at stake, it's your life at stake, it is your destiny at stake, it is your crossing over, it is your seeing the Lord do marvelous things at stake. We need to deal with the anger. So that's how you consecrate yourself. You consecrate yourself in your soul area, and those are some of the areas in which we consecrate ourselves, and we separate ourselves from those things. In other places, we separate ourselves from certain things of the flesh, the sins and the iniquities of the flesh, meaning fornication. I know, I don't, I know 2025, and people don't want to hear this anymore. Their body, their choice. Your body, your bondage. Do you know what I'm saying? It just depends on which way you want to slice the cake. But the truth is the truth: fornication, addiction to pornography, lust. Um, and and I think there has there's a there's also this very thin line that television has been crossing over to the point where we don't have to log on to a www to watch pornography. Certain shows just need us to turn it off. We just need to turn it off because it's not for us, okay. Um, and the reason I say this is because for some people, this is really bondage for them, and they really want to enter into the new that the Lord has for them, but this keeps them bound. So we need to watch for those things. Drunkenness, the way we drink these days, the the the way, the manner in which it happens, and some of the things that are done in that state. We think it's fun, but it becomes a door because it weakens the spirit man, it weakens the Holy Spirit within us, and it allows the enemy's voice to often speak louder. You cannot have two drivers in one car, there's only one steering wheel. That's why the word of God says, Do not be drunk with wine, instead be filled with the Holy Spirit. There's an instead, instead, because there is a leadership that happens, right, when you are allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. He leads. That means that if it's instead, that means drunkenness can lead. But they're saying instead of drunkenness leading, let the Holy Spirit lead, right? So drunkenness, I don't want to go too deep. We said we're laying a foundation today, okay? Um, reading certain books, watching certain things that that defiles us. Reading certain things will defile us, watching certain things will defile us, and that's not separating ourselves. We have to separate ourselves from the things that defile us and compromise our relationship with God. Purity, anything where the enemy can find pieces of himself within you when he stands before the Lord, imagine Job. He went to the Lord and said, Lord, Job is blameless. He meant I can't find anything that I can use as leverage in job. I can't. I can't find myself, I can't find my essence as Satan in Job. So I can't touch him. But there are things, if the enemy had to go before the Lord, he'll say, Lord, I can't touch her because she's been lying. She's been in a drunken stupor the whole time. She's addicted to porn. She has been gossiping, she is greedy, she lies, she's deceitful. I find that's I find what is part of me in her, which is crazy because we are supposed to be of God, our full essence. We're made in his image and likeness. We are carriers of the presence of God. We are supposed to be ones who reflect his glory. Like, you know, yet there are things that the enemy can identify in us. No, not after today. Because we were we are going to consecrate ourselves. We need to be pure. Purity is not just the what we know it to be. You have to say, like, you know, we're not we're not doing that. If you know, you know. But purity in spirit is making sure that we're not also mixing and defiling ourselves with things. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were in a city that worshipped other gods, but they said, I will not bow. We find ourselves in a day today where they where we can say, Yeah, I have the Lord, but I can have other things as well. That's impurity. Consecration means I will not bow because this is the man that I'm in a relationship with. So I cannot come to that party because I am in a relationship with God. I am consecrated to I separate myself from things that can compromise or defile what we have got going on, right? Like marriage. So there's things like there's so many things that open our door, the doors to other spiritual activities like necromancy. Oh, yeah, this one I tell you, if you don't know this is when you speak to the to speak to two dead people, guys, that the the dead have no affairs in the living. Um, new age, when you're practicing the crystals and the sages and the charging and the moon and the and the energy because you're trying to sound spiritual, but no, you you are actually defiling your relationship with God. Soundparts, astrology. Why are we looking to creation? Guys, astrology has a God all by itself, it is another deity, it's not just something that we read in magazines at the back of magazines that made it cute, the way we can find our soulmates. It doesn't work like that. Um, it's it's it's defilement. And the here's the thing: when the Lord says do not touch these accursed things, do not do not defile yourself. There's a reason why, and I I would encourage you obviously if you can read the the book um of Joshua, read judges after that. There is a way in which the Lord wanted his children to be kept and not to mix, because immediately when they begin to mix, the Lord withdraws himself from you because he will have no part. Who are we to think that we can have our cake and eat it? No, the Lord will have no part, he will leave you to your sin and the consequences thereof because he is God, because he is God, and we need to understand that he has given you a will, and you have to partner with him when it comes to consecration. Let me read one more thing. So the children of Israel they consecrated themselves, and in Joshua now they have occupied the promised land, and every time the Lord gave them a law or they gave them, he gave them an initi an instruction. Remember, I told you obedience is consecration. So every time the Lord gave them an instruction, you know, once you've taken down Jericho, you can take their calves, but don't take their jewelry, or you can have the gold and you can have the silver, but don't take their this or finish every destroy everything. So there was a way in which different seasons or different spaces, sorry, not seasons, different spaces, different cities, the Lord dealt with them because he knew what taking on those things would do to the children of Israel. Now I just want to read something for you in Joshua 7. The Lord's instruction to Joshua was to burn down everything, right? Because the Lord is looking at the heart, he didn't want people to take things because the Lord knew what those things were dedicated to. Then there was this one guy, this one guy. Imagine there's millions of people, by the way, thousands and hundreds of thousands of people. This one guy, Achan, and who decided I'm going to, I'm just gonna take because what they saw in there was pleasing to the eye, but those things were devoted things. The Lord didn't want that. So this one guy, Achan, he decides to, or Akan or Chan, however you decide to say it, he takes the devoted things from Jericho and he hides them under his tent, right? Under the place where he stays, and now from Jericho, they're going to fight another land. And remember, the Lord is always giving Joshua instructions. So they go and then now they're fighting the guys from the land of A, but now they're being defeated, and them being defeated means that something is wrong. Joshua was able to pick up that Lord, you are not covering us. Here's the thing when it comes to the promise of God, the Lord may not be obliged. To fulfill his promise if you don't keep yours. If you're not obedient to his instruction, he may not be obliged to fulfill what he said. Because remember, he had pre prerequisites. So if you're not fulfilling that, he was like, I then I'm not in it. Because how dare we think we can have our cake and eat it, live our lives the way we want, and assume that the Lord will be in it, or his presence will be in it, or with us. So while they are fighting that that land, because remember, the Lord said, be strong and courageous, victory is already yours. But when he sees some, when Joshua sees something contrary or that contradicts what the Lord said, is like something is wrong. And the Lord said, There's a guy who didn't obey and who took those things, and that is why I'm not with you. So go and fix that thing so that you can continue to live in victory. Right? So Joshua goes to the man, and if eventually he finds out who who did it. So when Joshua goes and looks for the man, I think I want you to also read in Joshua 7, he even tells the people, go and consecrate yourself. You see, where there is disobedience, there is no consecration. Where there is compromise and the presence of the Lord is no longer there, when his presence is no longer with you, that means that there was something, there was a breach that happened, and that there was no consecration. So he tells them to do it all over again. People consecrate yourselves again, again. But anyway, let's go to the man who did what he did. So by trial and error and um the way that he used to find the man, like he found the guy. He's like, Okay, Lord, he's not from this tribe, he's from this tribe. Okay, not from this, from this tribe, which family, not that family, this family. Eventually he finds Achan. And Achan is like, Okay, yes, it's true. In verse 20, I have sinned against the Lord, this is what I've done. When I saw the plunder, um, when I saw in the plunder a beautiful robe, 200 shekels, silver and gold, I coveted them, and I took them. They are hidden in the ground under my tent. My goodness, he coveted them. This is why consecration is so important: is that wherever you go, regardless of what you see, you are separated from the the the the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, because you know that the lust of the eye and lust of the flesh will flesh will make me lose the greater promise that is at hand. Number one, my relationship with the Lord, number two, his promises for me. Number three, my victory in him. So again, I'll say this is just the foundation. We are actually done. Consecration is not for priests, it goes deeper for every child of God, but there is a standard. And the reason why I have laid down some is that I want you to now begin to ask the Lord, Lord, what are the things that I have kept? What are the things that I keep doing? Where are the places that I keep going that you don't want me to go? If I say I carry your presence within me, yet I take your presence to places where you are not glorified and you don't want me to go, then it's either I'm lying to myself that I truly carry your presence, or I am completely disobedient. Lord, search my heart and help me. I want to remove myself. And here's the thing: it's not gonna be a hocus pocus. Consecration is a decision, it is a daily decision every day. The Bible says, I lay my life. I actually have that verse on my phone. Let me get it quickly. I believe it's in 2 Corinthians. No, it's in Romans, it's in Romans. It says, Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. This is your act, your spiritual act of worship. Don't conform to the patterns any longer of this world, but be transformed by renewing your mind. Listen, then you'll be able to test and approve what God's will, His good and perfect and pleasing will. If you do not lay your body as a living sacrifice, you will not be able to fathom, understand, and enter God's will for your life. There has to be a partnership, and the partnership and his promises need your participation. So this week's homework is that we're gonna do the work. We're going to do stock take, we're gonna take the mirror, we're gonna look at ourselves, we're gonna pray and ask the Lord to show us maybe things we didn't even say, maybe it's the way we speak to people. The Lord wants to cut that thing off, He wants to remove it. Maybe it's the way we think of people, whether it's in a not so great way, however it is, maybe it's in how you respond to people. I'm gonna waste them because they vased me. Consecration. If you do have any questions or comments, put them down in the comment section below. Any thoughts, put them in the comment section below because this is actually just part one. Um, let's continue the conversation in the comments. And if you are listening on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, you can leave the comments in the review area as well. I'm sure there's a comment thing as well on there. This one is not the easiest, it was not the nicest, but it had to be done, okay? Because what the Lord wants, the Lord really wants us to go forward, and we're not going to go forward in ignorance, and we're not also going to be held back because we are ignorant. We are going to move forward and we're going to make the necessary changes because by this time next year, by the grace of God, the wonders that you'll see in your life are because you are being obedient. You'll be blessed in the city and blessed going out because you're obedient. You would have set yourself apart. You want the men, but you come come on. You want the woman, but you want the marriage, but there's nothing that you're doing in your life right now, you know, and not to say marriage is the pale and end-all, everybody has their own desires. Um you but even to minister or to be used of God or to serve God or to show up and become the accountant, you need to be in your space or to lead. You can't lead with an ugly attitude. Worse, branded child of God. Consecration. We need to be consecrated. Anyway, I love you so much. I know it's hard, I know it was tough, but I love you so much. I'll see you in the next one next week. Don't forget to share. If there's a video you need to share, share this one. Share this one, okay? Just share, don't say anything, just say send it to your neighbor. Don't send it in a spicy way and say this is for you. But share it, share it because we don't want to miss the season. We want to partner with the Lord and enter into everything that God has said He has for us and that He has in store for us.
unknown:I love you.
SPEAKER_00:Bye.
